A little more Country.

Alright Y'all, here are a few more photos from Nashville...
I hope this inspires you to turn on some country tunes and get your boot scootin boogie on! :)

This was a super cool letterpress print shop! My friend Julie had a coffee print in her kitchen that I loved and when I asked her about it she told me this is where she got it. My husband got a B.B. King print during this visit.
I loved the orange cat just cozied up, baking in the sun.
Nashville, TN

Just a few shots of the city! I love the building on the bottom right..I named it the Batman building.

If you read my last post "Nashville!" you probably remember me mentioning that the denim they wear as part of the uniform at Barista Parlor are custom made at Imogene & Wille. This is it! We were able to check out the shop before we left and it was so unique. Loved it!

Honky Tonkin!

We went to the Eli Young Band, Little Big Town and Rascal Flatts Concert our first night in Nashville. I was excited to see Rascal Flatts, but let me tell you...Little Big Town should have been headlining. They were AMAZING! If you liked them before you will be obsessed after seeing them live. Not only are they each insanely talented singers and musicians, but they are all incredibly good looking as well. Kimberly Schlapman (the blonde bombshell) was like watching SJP on stage..I mean how cute is she?!?! Not to mention that she also has mad culinery skills. Then you have the sexy brunette, Karen Fairchild. From what I've read she is the fashionista of the bunch which was clear on stage. Her outfit that consisted of leather leggings, a top with a sparkly skull head, and an edgy jacket with fringe on the sleeves was HOT! The bottom middle photo was the girls performing the current radio hit "Pontoon". If you haven't experienced LBT yet, just listen to the song "Tornado" and you'll be hooked. Catchy tunes y'all!
The Frothy Monkey
2509 12th Avenue South
Nashville, TN 37204

I wish I had more photos of The Frothy Monkey. This was one delightful coffeehouse! Not only was the coffee delicious, but the breakfast was quite tasty as well. After Julie told me that she saw Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman here I'm not gonna lie...I was secretly hoping to spot or have a run in of my own with a country star. That's the thing in Nashville, everyone respects each other's privacy so someone like Nicole Kidman can join her husband at a local coffeehouse and not get bombarded by crazed fans. Love that about this city! Although if I saw her and Keith I think I may freak out just a little. ;)
The Hermitage
Nashville, TN

Anyone who knows my husband knows that he loves presidential history. While in Nashville we took a tour of The Hermitage, the home of President Andrew Jackson. This historic site opened in 1889! These are a few photos of the plantation. It was a huge property! The two "cabins" at the bottom are where slaves lived. It was crazy.

Top: LF / Shorts: Abercrombie (old) / Boots: Borrowed / Clutch Marshall's  Shades: La Loupe

Of course I had to get a photo with the fuzzy cows. Cute!

Chad & Julie told us this was the best ice cream EVER and they were right. It is the best!!! With flavors like sweet corn & black raspberry, salty caramel, wildberry lavendar...what could be better? Heaven in your mouth.
Our dear friends: Chad & Julie Cannon.
They are
gracious hosts and fun tour guides, but more importantly they are the most genuine, caring, trustworthy, hard working people and Josiah and I are so thankful to have them in our life. We love you guys! Thank you for having us in your home and making our Nashville experience so memorable.
Last, but not least...Maddux! The Cannon's energetic, loving pup who makes everything more entertaining.

    1. Thank you Ashley!! I just checked out your blog & I love it! I am a huge fan of color & prints so it appealed to me right away. The vest I'm wearing in this post is not faux, it's sheep hair. I look forward to following your blog! I hope you have a wonderful week as well! xo - Erica
